Description
SPS-DO Dissolved Oxygen Water Quality Sensor
The SPS-DO Dissolved Oxygen Water Quality Sensor operates based on the fluorescence quenching principle. When illuminated, the fluorescent material inside the sensor becomes excited and emits red light. Oxygen molecules absorb part of this energy, shortening the emission time of the red light — a relationship that is inversely proportional to the oxygen concentration. By measuring this duration, the sensor accurately calculates the dissolved oxygen (DO) level in the water.
The SPS-DO sensor is designed for both field operations and long-term or short-term monitoring. Using non-consumptive fluorescence technology, it provides high-precision, stable measurements even in environments with low oxygen concentrations.
