Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters, installed and supported in the UKApplications
One meter, six places it earns its keep.
The AQUAIOT clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter reads flow from outside the pipe. That one property, with no cutting, no shutdown and nothing touching the liquid, makes it useful in very different kinds of site.

Application areas
The same clamp-on meter serves very different sites.
What they share is a closed pipe full of liquid, a reason to see the flow, and a good reason not to open the line.
Data centres and AI cooling
Readings on every cooling loop, fitted to live pipework without a shutdown.
Semiconductor and electronics
Non-contact flow readings on process cooling and waste water lines.
Biotechnology and pharma
Flow on process and utility lines, with nothing wetted and nothing to clean.
Industrial process cooling
Water use on furnaces, presses and chillers, compared line by line.
Water features and ecological pools
The water used at each change, sent to the cloud for analysis.
Water engineering and waste water
Sub-metering and water balance on clean-water and treated lines.
What they have in common
Four reasons sites choose to measure from outside the pipe.
None of these depends on the application, which is why one meter can serve them all.
The meter clamps on the outside, so it can be added or swapped while the line keeps running.
The liquid never meets the meter, so there is no contamination path and no added joint to leak.
There is no paddle or turbine to wear, stick or need replacing.
Existing sites gain measuring points one line at a time, with no change to the pipework.
Why AQUAIOT
We plan, install and support the whole system.
The meters come from specialist manufacturing partners. AQUAIOT selects them for your pipework, installs them, connects them and stays with you after go-live.
System review
We look at the pipe sizes, the materials and the points where a reading would help most.
Installation
Meters are clamped on and connected on site, without cutting a pipe.
Dashboard and alarms
We set the limits for each measuring point with you and choose who hears about each one.
Training and support
Your team learns the dashboard, and we support the system for as long as it runs.

Questions
These are the questions we are asked about applications.
Can the same meter be used in all of these applications?
The same AQUAIOT clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter covers DN8 to DN100 on steel, stainless steel, HDPE, cast iron and copper pipe. We review each line before recommending where to fit it.
Does it suit sewage and rising mains?
No. For sewage lines we use radar level monitoring instead. The clamp-on meter is for clean and process liquids in closed, full pipes.
Do you provide the dashboard as well as the meter?
Yes. Readings go to the AQUAIOT dashboard over 4G or LoRaWAN, and an RS485 Modbus output feeds your own systems.
Can we trial a meter on one line first?
Yes. Many sites start with one or two measuring points. Tell us about the line and we will suggest where to begin.
Speak to an expert
Tell us where you would measure and we will plan it with you.
An AQUAIOT engineer will look at the line, the pipe size and the reading you need.
- System reviewWe check the pipework and the readings you need before anything is ordered.
