When water is present on a NOAH™ Leak Sensing Membrane attached to a NOAH™
Multifunction Leak Sensor, an alarm message is sent to any KAIROS™ LoRaWAN Gateway
within range. When the attached membrane has no water present on it, a message is sent
to remove the alarm. NOAH™ operates in LoRaWAN Class A mode.
NOAH™ transmits to the KAIROS™ Portal, which can be set-up to send email, SMS, or
voice alerts to any number of users (e.g. technicians, managers, residents, etc) when an
alert is triggered. The long range, low power, and high penetration LoRa radio allow for up
to ten years of battery-powered monitoring. And, the NOAH™ sensor’s small form-factor
make it easy to be installed discretely and out of the way.
